🧚 The Neurodivergent Fairy

(A Note on Notes)

Fairy Notes started as a typo. I meant to write Theory Notes. But the more I thought about it, there is something fairy-like about the way I work with ideas, bouncing between subjects, circling the same question from different angles, scattering a fairy dust of ideas and often landing somewhere I didn’t expect.

This section of the blog is where I gather fragments of theory, definitions, concepts, and contradictions. Not to master them, but to understand them on my own terms. I’m neurodivergent. I process theory through repetition, metaphor, and dialogue. Much of my learning happens through recursive questioning, often with AI, where I ask the same thing from several directions until something becomes clear.

Fairy Notes isn’t a glossary or a series of essays. It’s a working notebook, a record of the rabbit holes I often fall into, particularly around complex academic theories. These notes, which are often short breakdowns of difficult ideas, are part of a continuous thinking process and form a record of my methodology in development. They’re here to help me think and to serve as building blocks for future essays.
